As part of combing operations to recover looted, illegal arms and ammunition, Joint Security Forces are carrying out combing operations at multiple locations in the state. Continuing in this endeavor security forces recovered seven hand grenades, one country made Mortar and one country made rifle alongwith some ammunition at Sahei village of Tegnoupal district on 14th October.
In light of the above, the general public is again requested to deposit back any looted weapons and ammunition which they may have in their possession as stated in the earlier state government notification also and help the accelerate the peace restoration process.
