N.F.Railway to facilitate the movement of passengers during Diwali and Chhath Puja, N. F. Railway has decided to further extend the periodicity of few special trains. These trains will run as per their existing timings and stoppages.
Accordingly, special train no. 05762 (Katihar – Ranchi) will run for five trips leaving from Katihar at 14:00 hours on every Thursday from 02nd till 30th November, 2023 to reach Ranchi at 03:40 hours on the next day. In return direction, special train no. 05761 (Ranchi – Katihar) will run for five trips leaving from Ranchi at 05:30 hours on every Friday from 03rd November till 01st December, 2023 to reach Katihar at 20:00 hours on the same day.
Special train no. 08047 (Santragachi – Guwahati) will run for four trips leaving from Santragachi at 18:00 hours on every Friday from 03rd till 24th November, 2023 to reach Guwahati at 15:00 hours on the next day. In return direction, special train no. 08048 (Guwahati – Santragachi) will run for four trips leaving from Guwahati at 16:45 hours on every Saturday from 04th till 25th November, 2023 to reach Santragachi at 12:30 hours on the next day.
Special train no. 05734 (Katihar – Amritsar) will run for four trips leaving from Katihar at 07:50 hours on every Saturday from 04th till 25th November, 2023 to reach Amritsar at 00:05 hours on the third day. In return direction, special train no. 05733 (Amritsar – Katihar) will run for four trips leaving from Amritsar at 12:45 hours on every Monday from 06th till 27th November, 2023 to reach Katihar at 03:30 hours on the third day.
Special train no. 05616 (Guwahati – Udaipur City) will run for four trips leaving from Guwahati at 18:00 hours on every Sunday from 05th till 26th November, 2023 to reach Udaipur City at 21:05 hours on the third day. In return direction, special train no. 05615 (Udaipur City – Guwahati) will run for four trips leaving from Udaipur City at 13:45 hours on every Wednesday from 08th till 29th November, 2023 to reach Guwahati at 23:30 hours on the third day.
Moreover, it has been decided to extend the period of experimental stoppages of few trains at nominated stations till 30th April, 2024. Stoppage of train no. 13141/13142 (Sealdah – New Alipurduar – Seladah) Teesta Torsha Express at Belakoba station; train no. 12345/12346 (Howrah – Guwahati – Howrah) Saraighat Express at Dhupguri station; train no. 13053/13054 (Howrah – Radhikapur – Howrah) Kulik Express & train no. 15643/15644 (Puri– Kamakhya–Puri) Express at Harischandrapur station; train no. 13169/13170 (Sealdah – Saharsa Jn. – Sealdah) Hate Bazare Express & train no. 13063/13064 (Howrah – Balurghat – Howrah) Express at Eklakhi station; train no. 13147/13148 (Sealdah– Bamanhat-Sealdah) Uttar Banga Express at Samsi station.
