Security Forces organised a lecture on awareness about abuse of Drugs and other narcotic substances for children of Chandrakhong Village, Thoubal District, Manipur. A team of NCB Manipur led by SP Aram Anth conducted the lecture and emphasized on the ill effects of Narcotics and drug abuse on human body.
A total of 55 children from various schools around Chandrakhong villages alongwith teachers and parents attended the lecture. Students also stepped forward and expressed their views on the subject. Finally, the event concluded with distribution of sweets and refreshments to students. The teachers and parents appreciated the efforts of Assam Rifles for their valuable time and conducting such informative activity amid the unrest and tension in the state.
