Security Forces under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) carried out Joint Cordon and Search Operation with Manipur Police (Beheng Police Station) at Lungjang Village, district Churachandpur of Manipur on 19 Nov 2023.
Based on a specific input from own sources regarding likely presence of weapon cache in general area Lungjang Village, Churachandpur district Security Forces carried out a Joint Cordon and Search Operation with Beheng Police which led to the recovery of weapons. Two .303 Rifles with magazines, one AK- 47 Rifle with magazine were recovered in the search operation on 19th Nov 2023.
The recovered weapons have been handed over to Beheng Police Station for further investigations.
