2 NAVAL UNIT KOLKATA CELEBRATED NCC DAY WITH GREAT ZEAL AND ENTHUSIASM

The National Cadet Corps (NCC), the largest uniformed youth organisation in the world raised in 1948, celebrated its 75th Anniversary on November 26, 2023, signifying a momentous chapter in its legacy of honing youth with core principles such as discipline, leadership, and unwavering patriotism.

The NCC Directorate at Kolkata plays a crucial role in nurturing and guiding the youth of West Bengal and Sikkim, instilling in them a sense of discipline, patriotism, and social responsibility. Under the stewardship of Major General Vivek Tyagi, the NCC endeavors to further enhance its efforts in nurturing future leaders, fostering character development, and promoting a spirit of national service among cadets.

Major General Vivek Tyagi‘s assumption of the position of Additional Director General marks a significant milestone in the NCC’s ongoing commitment to empowering young individuals and cultivating their potential to contribute meaningfully to the nation’s progress.
