SECURITY FORCES SAVE INJURED 6-YEAR-OLD GIRL

In a commendable display of quick thinking and empathy, Security Forces came to the immediate aid of a 6-year-old girl who sustained injuries while cutting firewood while using a blunt machete.

The incident occurred at Simang Village, Tengnoupal District when Miss Chongemhoi accidentally injured herself, resulting in a laceration and a broken finger. Responding promptly to the distress call, a skilled Nursing Assistant (NA) of the Security Forces stationed at Bongmol administered timely treatment.
The nursing assistant expertly stitched the wound, addressing the laceration, stopping the loss of blood and applied splints to stabilize the broken finger. The quick and efficient response prevented further complications and ensured the young girl received the necessary medical attention without delay.The young girl is currently receiving further medical care and is expected to recover well, thanks to the timely intervention of the Security Forces personnel.
