Under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South), Security Forces sponsored a “One Day Volleyball Tournament” organized by Kwakta Khuman Multipurpose Development Cooperative Society in Kwakta, Bishnupur District (Manipur) on 03rd December 2023.
This tournament not only provided a competitive platform but also served as a conduit for Security Forces to engage with the villagers and local youth of Kwakta and its neighboring areas. The interaction facilitated future collaborations and coordination between civil society and Security Forces, contributing to the maintenance of peace and stability in the locality. It’s noteworthy that Security Forces actively align themselves with the aspirations of Manipur’s future generation, supporting endeavors in sports and education to enhance the career prospects of the youth.
Furthermore, at Songdoi in Churachandpur district Security Forces orchestrated a Friendly Volleyball Match on 03 December 2023 to foster a spirit of sportsmanship and encourage the youth of Songdoi to actively engage in sports, thereby promoting a sports culture in the border villages of Manipur. Commencing with an engaging interaction with the village youth, the event progressed to a friendly volleyball match, concluding with refreshments. In this interaction, 12 budding sports enthusiasts were enlightened about India’s sports culture, the significance of a healthy lifestyle, and the diverse opportunities available in various sports genres.
