As part of Operation Sadhbhavana, Assam Rifles, operating under the aegis of the Inspector General Assam Rifles (South), has undertaken a noteworthy initiative to enhance the living standards in the secluded villages of Manipur by leveraging sustainable resources.
In the face of a severe water scarcity in the region, Assam Rifles constructed an RCC Water Tank (10,000 ltrs) at Wanglee Market. Such proactive measures not only instill optimism but also foster a sense of trust among the inhabitants of these remote areas.
The local villagers expressed profound gratitude for the invaluable support extended by Assam Rifles and commended the initiative for its positive impact on their lives. This collaborative addressed the pressing issue of water shortage but also played a pivotal role in fortifying the collaboration and synergy between Assam Rifles and the local populace.
