Assam Rifles seized 22.68 gms of Brown Sugar worth Rs 9.7 Lacs from General Area Pailapool, under Baskandi PS, Cachar District, Assam on 30th December 2023.
Based on credible information, a joint operation was launched by Assam Rifles Battalion and Baskandi PS. The team seized 22.68 gms of Brown Sugar worth Rs 9.7 Lacs and apprehended four drug peddlers alongwith an Alto car.
The drug peddlers alongwith the seized contents and the vehicle were handed over to Baskandi PS, Cachar District, Assam on 30 December 2023 for further investigation & legal proceedings. Assam Rifles highlighted its commitment towards drug free society.
