Acting on specific intelligence of presence of arms, ammunition and explosives, near Tuinom Village, Churachandpur in district Churachandpur.
Assam Rifles and Manipur Police launched an operation on 29th December and recovered a total of 11 weapons to include 02 x country made pistols, 01 x 38 mm Multi Grenade Launcher, four improvised mortars, four single barrel rifles, ammunition and other war like stores.
