Situated in Udalguri district of Bodoland area of Assam Bhairabkunda is a place on the border of Arunachal Pradesh and Bhutan.
This place is not only the meeting place of geographical borders but also for the river Jia Dhansiri, Bhairavi and Daifam.
The name of Indian side is Bhairabkunda and the name of Bhutan side is Samdrup.
This place is unique because of boundaries.
This place is also famous for a Shiva temple. Every year devotees visit this temple. Geographically, the temple is a part of Bhutan though it can be visited by Indians.
The Hindu devotees visits the place in ‘Makar Sankranti’ where they take bath in the meeting point of three rivers and offer puja in the Shiva Temple.
