Meghalaya was declared 2nd Runner Up in the ODOP Awards 2023 organised by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade.
The ODOP Awards programme 2023 was held at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.
The award is in recognition for Meghalaya efforts in promoting the One District One Product (ODOP) initiative.

Chief Minister Conrad Sangma also said, “The award is a motivation for Meghalaya’s farmers and skilled artisans, who are making efforts to get their unique products showcased on the national and international platform.”
The event, organized by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade, celebrated the state’s commitment to the One District One Product (ODOP).
