Acting on specific intelligence of presence of arms and ammunition in general area of Lousangkhong, in Imphal East district, joint team of Assam Rifles and Manipur Police launched a joint search operation on 12 Jan 24 and recovered 01 x Carbine, 01 x Pistol, three hand grenades, ammunition and war like stores. The recovered items have been handed over to the Police.
