The Area Accounts Office, Kolkata, in collaboration with Zilla Sainik Boards and other associated organizations, will be organising camps for the submission of life certificates for Defence Pensioners. This initiative aims to facilitate the smooth processing of life certificates and address pension-related queries for ex-servicemen, brave women, widows, and their heirs. The camps are scheduled to kick start on the accasion of Army day on 15th Jan at Zilla Sainik Board, Barasat and will continue till 22nd jan at various locations.

The camp will be held at the Zilla Sainik Boards in AJC Bose Road on the 16th Jan, LAO (A) Barrackpore on 17th January, South 24 Parganas Ex-Servicemen Co-ordination Committee in Baruipur on 19th and Zilla sainik board, Krishnanagar on the 22nd.
The ex-servicemen will need to be in possession of essential documents such as bank passbook, Pension Payment Order (PPO), mobile phones, Aadhaar card, PAN card, etc.
