Joint column of Assam Rifles and Churachandpur Police launched an operation based on specific input and recovered huge cache of arms, explosives and war like stores in general area Langvon Village, Churachandpur on 19th January 2024.
A total of 21 weapons, ammunition and war like stores were recovered during the operation. This includes one 5.56 mm M4A1 Assault Rifles with magazine, one 9mm Pistol (with magazine), seven Single barrel Rifles, twelve Improvised Mortars and war like stores.
The recovered items have been handed over to Sangaikot Police station, Churachandpur District, Manipur.
