Assam Rifles organised a friendly volleyball match at Chandrakhong on 29 January 2024 in Thoubal District of Manipur to boost the bonhomie between locals and Security Forces through Sportsmanship. The match was played between Assam Rifles & Youth of Yeasom Vill, Thoubal, Manipur.
The event witnessed tremendous enthusiasm and cheering for both the teams and finally culminated into Assam Rifles team winning the match in 3-1 straight sets.
On the same day at Moirang in Bishnupur District, Assam Rifles conducted a Friendly Volleyball Match with the youth of Citizens Club Moirang. The match was organised to motivate the youth in field of sports and give them an opportunity to showcase their skills and sportsmen spirit. Total 18 youth participated and were briefed about the sports culture in India and the opportunities available in today’s environment in various sports genre.
