Acting on specific intelligence of movement of explosives on Maulkawi (Champhai – Zokhathar Road) in Champhai district in Mizoram, Assam Rifles established a Mobile Vehicle Check Post (MVCP). The MVCP intercepted a vehicle driven and on thorough search recovered two three 12 mm Bore Gubs (single and double barrel), ammunition & war like. The apprehended individual and the recovered items have been handed over to Police.
