Under the aegis of the HQ IGAR (South), relief materials were distributed at relief camps in Hiangtam Lamka and Pearsonmun villages, Churachandpur District, Manipur as part of the Assam Rifles Civic Action programme, completed on 11th February .
This distribution was a crucial component of the Assam Rifles Civic Action Programme, aiming to provide essential livelihood amenities to internally displaced people in relief camps, ensuring their basic needs are met during times of necessity. The distributed relief items encompassed a wide range, including an RO plant, blankets, sweaters, and nutrition products for children, sanitary pads, sports and recreational items, and other essential daily necessities.
The Assam Rifles remains steadfast in its commitment to bring about positive changes in the well-being of communities within its area of responsibility, thereby fortifying the relationship between security forces and the people of Manipur, even amidst challenging circumstances.
