Acting on specific intelligence of movement of cadres of armed groups in general area Namlee Market, Kasong in Kamjong district Manipur, Assam Rifles sited an ambush on 13 February and successfully intercepted an individual. Interrogation of the person revealed that he was indeed an active member of the UNLF(K) group. The individual has been handed over to Manipur Police.
