Assam Rifles seized 420.57 gms of Heroin worth Rs 2.94 crores from General Area Haokip Punji, under Jirighat PS, Cachar District, Assam on 21 Feburary 2024.
Based on credible information, a joint operation was launched by Assam Rifles and Jirighat PS. The team seized 420.57 gms Heroin worth approx Rs 2.94 crores and apprehended one drug peddler.
Seized contents and and apprehended drug peddler were handed over to Jirighat PS, Cachar District, Assam on 21 Feburary 2024 for further investigation & legal proceedings.
