In yet another success in its crusade against smuggling activities Assam Rifles along with Hnahlan Police Beat Post recovered Rs 1,03,97,500 cash in General Area Murlen, and apprehended three individuals on 22 February 2024. In another operation Assam Rifles recovered 136 cases of foreign origin beer worth rupees 6.52 lakh from Mualkawi Champhai on 22 Feb 24.
The consignment and apprehended individuals were handed over to Hnahlan Police Beat Post, Mizoram, on 22 February 2024 for further legal proceedings . Simultaneously the other operation was conducted by Assam Rifles and customs preventive force Champhai where in 136 cases of foreign origin beer has been handed over to customs preventive force Champhai.
