Assam Rifles seized 126 gms Heroin worth Rs 88.2 Lakh from Bagha area, under Dholai PS, Cachar District, Assam on 25 February 2024.
Based on credible information, a joint operation was launched by Assam Rifles and Jirighat PS. The team seized 126 gms Heroin worth approx Rs 88.2 lakh and apprehended one drug peddler.
Seized contents along one apprehended person were handed over to Dholai PS, Cachar District, Assam on 25 February 2024 for further investigation & legal proceedings.
Assam Rifles highlighted its commitment towards drug free society.
