A free medical camp was organised under the aegis of Brahmastra Corps of Indian Army on 29 February on Gohi village near Deori Dumri Field Firing Range, Gaya. More than 1200 civilians from the village and adjoining areas visited the camp to avail free medical facilities. The opportunity was also utilised by Army Doctors to educate the masses about the prevention of various diseases along with other lifestyle diseases affecting them. It was indeed a notable action to reach out to the locals with a noble cause to provide them free Medical checkup and medicines.
The local people and the administration appreciated this effort made by the Indian Army. Locals played an important role in making Practice firing by Army successful in Deori Dumri Field Firing Range. The Army made significant contributions to the development of health and society and raised awareness about health services.
