Assam Rifles recovered Heroin worth Rs 1.27 Crore , weighing 182 grams, being carried in 14 soap cases from possesion of a Myanmar National from General Area SIAHTLA (Bualpui Road), Siaha District on 11 Mar 2024. In another op Assam Rifles recovered Marihuana worth Rupees 10 Lakh from General area Zote Champhai on 10 March 2024.
Both the operations were Based on specific input and were conducted alongwith Excise and Narcotics Department of Siaha District and police department champhai .
The apprehended person and recoveries made were handed over to Police for further investigation.
