The Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS) in its unwavering commitment towards nation-building is proud to announce the launch of the Vibrant Village Programme (VVP). This initiative under the auspices of Headquarters Eastern Command will be inaugurated in Chipsu village of Sikkim by the Trishakti Corps on 12 March 2024.
The VVP aims to extend essential healthcare services and promote community welfare in local villages, particularly Chhangu and Thegu. The programme seeks to enhance the quality of life for residents in these areas by addressing critical healthcare needs and fostering sustainable development.
Lieutenant General SC Dash, from HQ, Integrated Defence Staff (IDS), New Delhi will inaugurate the Vibrant Village Programme (VVP) on 12 March 2024. The ceremony will be attended by the Formation Commanders alongwith other military and civil dignitaries at Chipshu Village.
The Vibrant Village Programme is a testament to the AFMS’s enduring commitment to serving the nation and its people. The AFMS looks forward to the successful implementation of this initiative and the positive impact, it will have on the lives of the residents of Chipsu, Chhangu, Thegu, and beyond.
