Acting on specific intelligence of presence of arms and ammunition in general area Phungrei in Thoubal district of Manipur, Assam Rifles and Manipur Police launched a joint search on 20 March 2024 and recovered one INSAS Rifle, two grenades , one grenade Launching Tube and ammunition.
