Assam rifles is constantly assisting and motivating youth to join Indian Armed Forces to experience a plethora of exciting avenues and satisfying career and opportunities provided and associated with it. Adhering to its credo of “Friends of North East people”, is ceaselessly motivating and assisting local youth of the conflict hit remote villages of Manipur to join the Armed Forces through various entries/ schemes. With dedicated efforts on this venture, Assam Rifles commenced pre- recruitment training for the young aspirants of Imphal (West), Thoubal and Churachandpur District for the upcoming Agniveer Rally at Singjamei and Veng.
The four weeks training capsule is aimed for the aspirants hailing from humble family backgrounds, remote villages and internally displaced youth due to the ongoing conflict. The training program includes registration of candidates, preparation for written tests, medical test and verification of documents. Presently, 51 motivated youth have joined the ongoing training.
