Assam Rifles organized a friendly volleyball match and distributed sports items at St Anthony’s School, Machi Tengnoupal district on 22 March 2024 fostering community bonds and promoting physical activity amongst the youth.
Following this sports items were distributed to the participants & interactive sessions were held with students and faculty, discussing various events and development activities. 200 students, along with 50 teaching and non-teaching staff, and parents participated in the sports event, showcasing the community’s enthusiasm for such initiatives.
ASSAM RIFLES CONDUCTS VETERAN OUTREACH CAMPAIGN IN NEW KLP, MOREH, TENGNOUPAL DISTRICT
On March 21, 2024, the Assam Rifles hosted a Veteran Outreach Campaign in New KLP Moreh, Tengnoupal District. The event witnessed a good turnout, with the presence of 10 widows and family members of Assam Rifles Ex-servicemen (AR ESM).
The primary objective of the campaign was to extend crucial support and resources to individuals impacted by the ongoing law and order issues. Attendees actively engaged in substantive discussions, where they not only received valuable information on available assistance programs but also had the opportunity to share experiences and build connections within their support networks.
Through this initiative, the Assam Rifles demonstrated its commitment to addressing the needs of veterans and their families, emphasizing the importance of solidarity and community support in times of transition and adjustment.
