Ram Prasad Meena, IPS, Additional Director General (HR) , BSF New Delhi, reviewed the current security scenario and discussed various operational and administrative aspects of Border management on his 02 day visit from 26 to 27 March 2024 to BSF Frontier Meghalaya.
On 26 Mach 2024, ADG was welcomed by IG BSF Meghalaya Sh. Harbax Singh Dhillon and other senior officers followed by a “Guard of Honour” at Officers’ Institute, Shillong. Further, IG BSF Meghalaya briefed the ADG about the current security scenario along the Indo-Bangladesh International border of the Meghalaya Frontier.
ADG also paid a visit to D.P. Wahlang, IAS, Chief Secretary, Government of Meghalaya, and Dr. L.R. Bishnoi, IPS, DGP Meghalaya.
On March 27th, 2024, the ADG visit concluded after addressing officers and Jawans during a Prahari Sammelan at Ftr HQ Umpling, Shillong and visiting the under-construction composite Hospital building at Mawpat, Shillong
