Assam Rifles under the aegis of Headquarters Inspector General Assam Rifles (South) extended lifesaving medical assistance to a snake bite victim of Keibul Lamjao village, Bishnupur district, Manipur on 31 Mar 2024.
A 65 years old female namely Mrs Sanatombi was bitten by snake over right forearm on 31 Mar 24. She had local swelling at the site of bite and was brought by her relatives to the Assam Rifles Medical Inspection Room.
The Medical Staff examined and immediately rendered essential medical care and stabilized her condition. Presently she is on the road to recovery.
