Acting on specific intelligence of presence of arms and ammunition in general area Lamphel, Assam Rifles and Manipur Police launched a joint search operation on 31 March 2024 wherein, they apprehended two individuals and recovered one Shotgun, two Pistol, ammunition and war like stores.
