Lack of awareness result in loss of opportunities for the young budding generation especially in remote areas of the country who are deprived of the regular subscriptions of newspapers, social media & other platforms for general knowledge/ awareness. This not only is a serious concern for society at large but also an indicator of improving our outlook on the career prospects awareness for the younger generation who are the bright future of any Nation.
Assam Rifles not only guards the area of responsibility but also is involved in various other fruitful activities from which all society at large can reap benefits for career progression etc. In the same endeavour Assam Rifles under the aegis of Headquarter Inspector General Assam Rifles (South) conducted a Lecture on Career Opportunity in Indian Armed Forces & Central Armed Police Forces at Rayburn High School, Churachandpur District of Manipur on 03 April 2024.
The event witnessed a healthy participation by the students of Rayburn High School, Churachandpur. Guidance to students about various entries into the Indian Armed Forces, Assam Rifles, Central Armed Police Forces and other government and semi government sectors were addressed during the event. A total of 258 Students attended the said lecture with enthusiasm and eagerness for joining the Indian Armed Forces, Assam Rifles/ CAPFs and various Government & Semi- Government Sectors.
In the same vein Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (S) conducted a lecture on the Role of Youth in Nation Building at Zou Khunou village of Churachandpur district Manipur on 03 Apr 2024 which saw an enthusiastic participation from the youth from neighbouring villages also.
