Acting on specific intelligence of presence of arms and ammunition in general area Uchiwa, Mayang Imphal in Imphal West district of Manipur, Assam Rifles, Manipur Police commandos launched a joint search operation on 07 April 2024 and recovered one Carbine Machine Gun, one 7.62mm Self Loading Rifle, two Single Barrel Guns, one Pistol, four grenades, ammunition and war like stores.
