ASSAM RIFLES ORGANISED A CONVENTION FOR EX-SERVICEMEN, THEIR FAMILIES AND VEER NARIS AT SHALLUK, CHANDEL DISTRICT IN MANIPUR
Assam Rifles Battalion in continuation of its ongoing efforts to address the needs and concerns of the ex-servicemen community organised a convention for the ex-servicemen, their families and Veer Naris at Shalluk in Chandel District on 16 April 2024. 46 ex-servicemen and 17 Veer Naris of Chakpikarong and Sajik Tampak Area attended the event.
The ex-servicemen discovered common ground in their struggles with post service transition by sharing their personal journeys/ experience and supporting each other. The convention also served as a platform for fostering understanding and reconciliation in present situation in the state.
Organising a convention to address the problems and issues of the ex-servicemen, their families and Veer Naris marked a small yet crucial step towards providing support and assurance by the Assam Rifles in continuation of its ongoing efforts of improving livelihood of the area. The event was a reflection of an important facet of the old age tradition of Assam Rifles to respect and reach out to the needs of ex-servicemen.
All the attendees and the village authorities, expressed their gratitude to acknowledge initiative of Assam Rifles in enhancing the socio-economic fabric of the area in this prevailing situation.
ASSAM RIFLES ORGANISED MOCK TEST CUM PHYSICAL TRAINING SESSION FOR ASPIRANTS OF AGNIVEER RECRUITMENT RALLY IN MANIPUR
Assam Rifles organised a mock test cum physical training session for aspirants of Agniveer Recruitment Rally at Kangvai Village of Churachandpur District and at Sendra, Bishnupur District of Manipur on 18 April 2024.
This mock test has been conducted for aspirants who are currently attending coaching classes organised by Assam Rifles at villages Kangvai and Sendra since 20 February 2024. A total of 17 aspirants (nine male and seven female) participated in the Mock Test and physical training session.
Assam Rifles remains steadfast in its commitment for youth empowerment. Towards this commitment the force is constantly assisting and motivating youth to join Indian Armed Forces to experience a plethora of exciting avenues and satisfying career and opportunities provided and associated with it.
ASSAM RIFLES PROVIDES IMMEDIATE MEDICAL ASSISTANCE AT SAJIK TAMPAK, CHANDEL DISTRICT IN MANIPUR
Assam Rifles provided immediate medical assistance to four injured residents of Longja on 19 April 2024, after they met with an accident near Longja due to steering failure of Kunda Gadi. The medical officer alongwith medical team of Assam Rifles provided all necessary treatment to these individuals.
As always Assam Rifles remains committed to welfare of the North East people.
