Assam Rifles organized an informative and fun filled event under the theme “A Day with Company Commander” at Kamtong, District Kamjong, Manipur on 19 April 2024.
The event brought together around 20 villagers & students from Kangpat Khullen village. The main focus of the event was on fostering a spirit of camaraderie, sportsmanship and raising awareness about the armed forces through an interactive tour of the company, the participants enjoyed taking part in various activities and games. An interactive session over lunch with the company commander included topics ranging from improving security in the area, newer avenues for the youth and also various schemes to join the Indian Armed Forces.
The Assam Rifles is committed for youth empowerment and guiding the children towards a better future. The local villagers and students expressed their gratitude for organising such an educative and recreational event amidst the prevailing unrest and tensed situation in the state.
