Based on specific input with respect to presence of armed miscreants carrying out extortion activities along Churachandpur-Sangaikot road, Assam Rifles launched an operation on 20 April 2024 and apprehended two cadres of UKLF with one 9mm Pistol, ammunition and other stores. The cadres alongwith the recovered items were further handed over to Manipur Police.
