Assam Rifles hosted an informative and fun filled event under the theme “A Day with Company Commander” at Kakching Garrision, Manipur on 22 April 2024. The event brought together around 37 children and 04 guardians from IDP camps of Kha Manipur College and Kongoi Relief Camp.
The main focus of the event was on games, fostering a spirit of camaraderie, sportsmanship and raising awareness about the Assam Rifles. Children enjoyed participation in various games at the children part and also tried their hands at the obstacle course.
The display of equipment used by Assam Rifles gave the participants an exclusive opportunity to learn and motivated them to join the Security Forces. Furthermore, the Assam Rifles personnel interacted with the children and their guardians over tea and refreshments wherein efforts made to bring normalcy in the state were discussed.
