The Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Mukesh Dalal unopposed elected from Surat Constituency of Gujrat
The nomination of main opposition Congress candidate Nilesh Kumbhani was rejected and other candidates withdrew their nominations.
The nomination form of Suresh Padsala, the Congress’s substitute candidate from Surat, was also found invalid.
The last day of withdrawal of the nomination forms on Monday.
