Amidst the excitement of the ongoing Lok Sabha elections in India, the fourth phase of voting concluded today in five districts of West Bengal, characterized by exemplary calm. With the deployment of 290 companies of the Border Security Force (BSF) in these districts, the electoral process was conducted smoothly and peacefully.

While minor incidents were recorded in areas like Asansol, Tehatta (Nadia) and Murshidabad. The overall atmosphere remained calm where BSF personnel assisted in managing polling stations. The humanitarian face of the BSF jawans was evident as they provided assistance to elderly, sick and disabled voters throughout the day, garnering significant support from the local population. His presence not only ensured the safety of the voters but also instilled confidence and optimism in them.

Ahead of the polling day, BSF personnel in collaboration with local police forces conducted a flag march and established a safe polling environment, ensuring a confident environment for voters. This proactive approach significantly contributed to a seamless voting experience for voters.

BSF’s participation in election security operations in West Bengal reflects a ray of hope for the people, promoting self-assurance and confidence in the democratic processes. His dedication towards maintaining peace and facilitating electoral processes is commendable, which reaffirms his commitment to the democratic values ​​of the country.
