Assam Rifles under the aegis of IGAR (South) conducted a fitness drive with sports aspirants of Takmu Water Sports Complex in Sendra village, Bishnupur District on 18 May 2024.
An enthusiastic participation from 60 sports aspirants was seen in events like 100 metre sprint, 200 metre sprint, high intensity exercises and power training. Event culminated with distribution of essential items for the players of rowing club to grow and perform better in sports.
The players as well as club members appreciated the efforts of Assam Rifles in conducting such events and the program paved the way for strengthening the bond and harmony between security forces and local people.
