ASSAM RIFLES ORGANISED AN INTERACTIVE SESSION WITH STUDENTS AND TEACHERS OF KUKI STUDENT ORGANISATION, COMMUNITY SCHOOL AT KHUGA
Assam Rifles organised an interactive and recreational programme for students of Kuki Student Organisation, Community School at Khuga on 19 May 2024. The aim of the program was to motivate students during these challenging times.
The event featured sessions covering the rich history, responsibilities and challenges faced by the Assam Rifles. The informative session highlighted the forces commitment to duty, discipline, concern towards youth and children & their wellbeing and a peek into the relentless efforts being undertaken in serving the nation with utmost dedication. The interaction was followed by refreshments and gift distribution.

ASSAM RIFLES PROVIDES MEDICAL ASSISTANCE TO TWO BURN CHILD PATIENTS IN MANIPUR
In a swift response to a distress call on 19 May 2024, medical personnel from Assam Rifles provided critical aid to two children who suffered burn injuries at Khoripok Relief Camp in Kangpokpi district. The incident occurred around 5:10 PM when Lalmingsang, 7, and Jangjemgun, 2.5, were scalded by boiling water while playing.
The well-prepared medical team promptly evacuated the children, assessed their condition, and initiated critical aid measures. The team administered medications to alleviate discomfort and provided comprehensive care to mitigate any potential complications.
The children were admitted to the unit hospital for strict observation. This incident underscores the dedication of Assam Rifles to the people of the North East, living up to their motto “Friends of the North East.”
