Acting on specific intelligence of movement of cadres in general area Khongjom, in Thoubal district, a joint team of Indian Army, Assam Rifles and Manipur Police launched a search operation on May 21, 2024 and apprehended three armed cadres of KCP (Taibanganba) and recovered two 9 mm Pistols, ammunition and other war like stores. All apprehended individuals & recovered items have been handed over to the Police.
