Assam Rifles conducted an engaging Radio Jockey and Content Creation Competition for the youth in Ukhrul District, Manipur on 10 June 2024. This event aimed to nurture the ingenious talent of youth in the modern age of social media, emphasizing the importance of co-curricular activities and fostering a competitive spirit among students & youth.
The competition drew over 25 entries from aspiring youth and students, who showcased remarkable creativity and communication skills through a diverse range of engaging radio shows and compelling digital content. The participants’ enthusiasm and talent were evident in their innovative submissions, reflecting the vibrant potential of the region’s youth.
The event was well received by the local youth and students, who appreciated the opportunity to develop and display their skills. Gift hampers were awarded to the winners and runners-up in both categories, recognizing their exceptional performances and encouraging further pursuit of their passions.
ASSAM RIFLES CONDUCTED CLEANLINESS DRIVE IN MOREH, TEGNOUPAL
To raise awareness among villagers about the importance of hygiene and sanitation, Assam Rifles organized a comprehensive cleanliness drive in Mission Veng Village and Dalpati Ground of Moreh Town on 08 Jun 2024. The initiative began with an educational lecture on maintaining hygiene and fostering a healthier environment.
Following the informative session, Assam Rifles troops and over 85 villagers participated in a collaborative effort to clean the areas. This activity not only promoted community well-being but also strengthened the bond between the security forces and the local populace.
Village elders expressed their gratitude, appreciating Assam Rifles’ efforts to address social issues and enhance community awareness.
