Assam Rifles conducted a Medical Aid camp at Sangaa Muon Orphanage home, Village Bizang, Churachandpur district on 22 June 2024 wherein 36 children were benefited. The medical aid camp was conducted in continuation of Assam Rifles’ compassionate efforts to enhance mutual trust, harmony and peaceful association with the Kuki Women Union and as a part of National Doctor’s Day celebrations.
In giving back to the community and making a positive impact on people’s lives, the team of doctors and healthcare professionals from Assam Rifles are volunteering and utilising their expertise to make the health and wellbeing of the children a priority during these trying times in this camp.
ASSAM RIFLES ORGANIZED ‘A DAY WITH COMPANY COMMANDER’ EVENT AT AIGEJANG VILLAGE, CHANDEL DISTRICT, MANIPUR
Assam Rifles organised a transformative event titled ‘A Day with Company Commander’, embracing the theme ‘Unity begins the journey, Cohesion advances the progress & collaboration achieves success’.
The initiative, aimed at fostering stronger ties with the future pillars of the Nation, saw a vibrant turnout with around 60 children from Aigejang village in Chandel district of Manipur on 23 June 2024.
Enthralling events such as Walk for unity, Pipe band display, Chindrens’ Games, captivating weapon display and cultural programs infused the day with energy and purpose.
To conclude the festivities, a sumptuous lunch was served to all attendees, fostering bonds over shared meals and conversations.
This enlightening event not only offered a glimpse into life within the Armed Forces but also provided invaluable guidance to the youth, steering them towards constructive opportunities in the mainstream. Above all, the event served as a beacon of unity, strengthening the enduring bond between the Assam Rifles and the citizens of the Sajik Tampak area, paving the way for a brighter, more connected future.
