To encourage and motivate the youth of India, Army is going to organize a recruitment rally at Barrackpore Cantonment which is the oldest Army base in India.

Army Recruitment Rally will be held to shortlist candidates of districts North 24 Parganas, Hooghly, Bankura and Purulia under Agniveer Scheme from 11-18 July 2024 at Major Dhyan Chand Stadium, Barrackpore Cantonment. The proposed rally will shortlist candidates for regular Army (Soldier Tech Nursing Assistant and Sepoy Pharma category only. Successful candidates of Online Command Entrance Examination (CEE) who were shortlisted post Online CEE have been called up for the Physical Fitness Tests and Medical Examination at Major Dhyan Chand Stadium Barrackpore Cantonment. Admit Cards of successful candidates have already been sent to their registered Email IDs.
Candidates can also download their admit card for the recruitment rally by logging into their profile on Join Indian Army website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in.

Candidates are advised not to handover their original documents to any person during recruitment process to avoid falling prey to Touts/Agents nefarious activities. Any such incident must immediately be reported to local police and recruiting staff of Army Recruiting Office, Barrackpore. Strict measures have been implemented to arrest such Touts/Agents and malpractices during Recruitment Rally through local police and civil administration who have been co-opted for the same.
