Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and Telengana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi on Thursday.
During the meeting, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu Naidu thanked PM Narendra Modi for endorsing the state’s Araku coffee in his recent ‘Mann ki Baat’ episode.
During the meeting at the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), Naidu advocated for increased assistance to Andhra Pradesh in lieu of special category status.
Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy also called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi here on Thursday and discussed various issues related to the state, official sources said.
Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu accompanied Reddy during the meeting.
This was the first meeting between Narendra Modi and Revanth Reddy after Narendra Modi elected third time as a Prime Minister of India.
The sources said the Telangana chief Minister Revanth Reddy discussed key pending projects of the southern state with Narendra Modi.
