In its ongoing commitment to the villages in the AOR, Assam Rifles organised a security meet at Moltuk with village chiefs of village Parlon, village Moltuk, village New Songjang, village Old Songjang, village Molphibung, and village K Savumpa of Chandel District on 02 August 2024. The event marked a significant step towards encouraging awareness on security situation of the area and requirement of maintaining peace and harmony among various tribes and neighbouring villages.
The event witnessed an overwhelming response from the border villages. Refreshments were also organised for the attendees after the event. Representatives of seven villages attended the event.
The attendees expressed their gratitude to Assam Rifles as it facilitated awareness on security situation of the area.
