Rubina Francis has achieved a remarkable feat by securing a bronze medal in the women’s 10m air pistol SH1 event at the Paris Paralympics 2024.
Competing on August 31, 2024, she initially struggled in the qualifying rounds but made a significant comeback to clinch her place in the final.
In the final, she scored 154.4 points, which included a 9.2 in one of her shots, ultimately placing her third behind competitors from other nations.
It is India’s fourth medal in shooting at the 17th Summer Paralympic Games.
