Assam Rifles in continuation of its efforts to address the needs and concerns of the locals, successfully concluded a month long transformative event aimed at women skill development on 31 August 2024.
The event held during the entire month of August 2024 at Sajik Tampak, Chandel District was a resounding success. The venture kicked off with the inauguration of specialised tailoring classes aimed at equipping the participants with latest skills in cutting and stitching all kinds of outfits.
The mega event included a three day workshop on candle making, where the women were introduced to multiple types and techniques of decorative candle making. The highlight of the mega event was conduct of baking class where women and aspiring bakery entrepreneurs were given mentorship and guidance in acquisition of skills required to prepare delicious baking items. 45 participants unanimously resonated the requirement of financial independence for women for overall growth of the society.
The village authorities and the families of the participants also expressed their gratitude and appreciation for the initiative while highlighting the positive impact on the participants.
ASSAM RIFLES ORGANISES MEDICAL CAMP AT AIMOL KHULLEN VILLAGE, PALLEL, MANIPUR
Assam Rifles under the aegis of IGAR(S) organises medical camp at Aimol Khullen Village, Tengnoupal Dist, Manipur on 31 August 2024. Over 150 persons were provided medical aid during the Medical Camp.
The medical team, led by Senior Medical Officer of Assam Rifles, also educated the community on preventive healthcare measures, further highlighting the force’s dedication to the welfare of the local population.
The locals expressed their deep gratitude and appreciated the sincere efforts by Assam Rifles for providing medical care to people.
ASSAM RIFLES CONDUCTS ENTRANCE EXAM FOR ASPIRANTS OF AGNIVEER
Assam Rifles recently conducted an entrance exam for 25 aspirants of joining Indian Armed Forces at Sita & Kwatha Village in Tengnoupal District. The aspirants hailed from Kwatha Sita, Kampang Khullen, Khudei Khullen, and Chelep villages. The comprehensive exam included various reasoning and subjective questions designed to assess the potential and areas needing improvement in the candidates.
The outreach highlights Assam Rifles’ efforts in preparing the youth of Manipur for promising careers in the Indian Armed Forces. Selected candidates will proceed for pre-recruitment training under the aegis of Assam Rifles at Tengnoupal.
