In its ongoing humanitarian efforts, the Assam Rifles, known as the “Sentinels of the North East,” responded to a request from Mother Teresa Orphan Home in Mantripukhri, Imphal East District, by supplying 200 liters of drinking water and 5000 liters of potable water on September 16, 2024. This initiative was aimed at supporting the daily needs of the resident zooms at their homes.
The relief effort benefited approximately 66 residents, including elderly, children, and those with physical disabilities and special needs. The commitment of Assam Rifles in assisting the needy reflects its dedication to facilitate the welfare of athe people in Manipur.
